The nightlife is concentrated to Umeå and Skellefteå, where there are discos, pubs and restaurants. The wide spread culture of several pubs and “Bed and breakfast” even in the smallest village that exists in many European countries is not as common in Swedish Lapland, which is explained by the low population. But in most of the packages offered on this site, the camps have the right to serve alcohol. If you want alcohol on your trip, one way to solve it is to visit the special liquor-store “Systembolaget”. They have a very good selection of wine and beer and the prices are much lower than in discos or hotels.
