Super pupae The fly imitates
a hatching caddis. Fish the fly free drifting in streams, and
lying still or with a very slow retrieval in lakes. A very good
fly for arctic char, grayling, trout and whitefish. Use hooks
in sizes 10 16 and vary the colour from for example green
to yellow, olive or cream. Let the foremost part have a slightly
darker nuance than the rear.
Cdc Europea-12 One of our most useful
patterns, works as well in lakes as in streams or the coastal
waters. Imitates most of our caddis species. Use hook sizes 10
16, and fish the fly as a resting caddis or with a slow
retrieval as an egg laying caddis
Cdc Deer Hair Wasp An all-round
fly for grayling, trout and char, but also perch, a fish that
find wasps hard to resist. Literally unsinkable, it is very effective
in all kinds of water from coast to mountain. The Cul de canard
hackle gives the fly extra buoyancy and a lively impression.
Free-living caddis larvae The basic food
for fish in Northern Sweden mainly consist of caddis in different
stadium, from larvae to fully-grown insect. Upstream fishing using
free drift technique gives the fly a natural behavior. Useable
all season for trout and grayling. A favorite for fishing big
arctic char in the mountains.
Olive gold head hares ear A very
good all season fly for grayling, trout and arctic char. Equally
useable in the mountain river as in the lake or the coastal waters.
An extremely effective combination is to use this fly together
with a free-living caddis larvae imitation.
Corixa Mostly used for rainbow trout
fishing in lakes but also as a perch fly. The fly is weighted
in the foremost section and behaves natural when sinking head
first. This is an all season fly.
"Simpan" A real big-trout fly.
Fish the fly in long retrievals, or if fishing in streams just
let it drift. Very nice silhouette with lively motion. Weighted
under the deer hair head. Use streamer hook size 2 10.
Also as a variant with grizzle-marabou instead of hen saddle-feathers.
Useable on pike and perch as well.
Toril´s killer (variant) A leech
imitation that trout and rainbow trout have difficulties in resisting,
also useable on perch. Weighted in the foremost part of the hook
shank. Fish this fly in short and fast or long and slow retrievals.
Try using it during nighttime for big trout in streams or lakes.
