Good fishing for salmon in the rivers Byske and Lögdeälven (17/6)
The water level has gone down recently and the water temperature is quite low, which explains why the fishing is still quite good.
The salmon fishing has been much better than the previous two seasons, says Micke Lindström. The water temperature has been about 10-12 degrees (Centigrade). From the river Byskeälven, 85 salmon has been caught. Last year most of the salmon was caught in August. The biggest so far, 14 kg, was caught in the middle of the village Byske. The medium weight is about 7 kg.
