I would like to inform you in general that the owner of the company, Janne Karjalainen, is a member of the board of the Ounasjoki fisheries area. I am telling you this so that you can contact me if you have any questions&comments about the fisheries area.
As another point, I would like to point out that on 10.2.2026, the Lohijokitiimi Association prepared a lobbying report for the operators. How about the weather?
It´s been amazing couple of weeks here in Finnish Lapland, Rovaniemi: Temperature has been around -30 degrees of Celsius day and night.. Northeast part of Lapland enjoyed temperatures below -40 degrees.

Been there, done that
Lapland Fishing Ltd were also presented in Angelwelt Berlin 2025 last weekend. This is the biggest fishing fair in Europe. Lot of nice contacts and meetings with people from various fields. Next year again!
It´s snowing at the moment. Waiting for the ice sheets to be formed on our home waters - ice fishing follows!
Ok, it´s December and elves are watching, we´ll behave.

Autumn leaves
Yes, it seems that minus temperatures will find us here in Southern Lapland this week. Some might say, finally.
I personally didn´t manage to do as much as fishing as I wanted or didn´t find new locations as a such high volume as wanted on this autumn based on multiple reasons. But here´s some at least. This is a location for next years open water trout and grayling fishing. Come and join us!

A this point I must remind you: please full all of your personal info and make sure your emails are not blocking receiving emails from us. Unfortunately, there has being cases, that we don´t have enough info to contact the person, whom had done the inquiry.
We are using Microsoft Office as a tool and Outlook Express as a email operator, so please make sure that all of "routs are clear".

Season begins. Again.
The temperature has dropped quite a lot here in the North and fish are starting to be active again. The river Kemi water temperature with yesterday fishing was 16,7 of Celsius.

Fishing with the swimsuit on
Beach season here in Lapland! Even I have been swimming; that tells you all. Let´s give a rest for our friends in the water. In August we head for the waters again...
